Across the Table (ATT) - Event Terms & Conditions

1. Event format

  • Across the Table events are designed to create a balanced experience between guests who wish to meet and connect with people of the opposite sex in a relaxed, sociable setting.

  • All invited guests are welcome to take part provided they are comfortable with the event format and agree to be respectful to their fellow attendees.

2. Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

  • Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.

3. Cancellations & refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 4 weeks before the event date will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the event are non-refundable

4. Health & safety

  • Food & Drink

    The preparation and service of food and drink is the sole responsibility of the venue. ATT does not prepare or serve food or alcohol. A welcome drink may be included within your ticket price, but all further purchases of food and drink are made directly with the venue and are subject to their licence and responsibility. ATT accepts no liability for any illness, food poisoning, allergic reaction, or issues relating to the consumption of food and alcohol. Guests with serious allergies attend at their own discretion.

  • Behaviour & Respect

    Guests are expected to drink responsibly and to behave in a respectful and considerate manner towards others at all times. Harassment, abusive language, unwanted physical contact, or any behaviour that makes another guest feel unsafe will not be tolerated.

  • Right to Remove

    ATT and the venue reserve the right to refuse entry or require any guest to leave if behaviour is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive. In such circumstances, no refund will be given.

  • Complaints & Concerns

    If at any point during the evening you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please speak to the host or a member of venue staff immediately so that the issue can be addressed. ATT will always take concerns seriously and respond promptly.

  • Supervision

    An ATT host will be present throughout the event to support guests and to step in if any issues arise. Venue staff will also be available to assist in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

  • Personal Risk

    By attending, you agree that you do so at your own risk. While we aim to create a safe and welcoming environment, ATT and its organisers cannot accept responsibility for any injury, accident, or loss that may occur during the event, except where required by law.

  • Event Duration

    Our responsibility is limited to the conduct and safety of the event between 7:00pm and 12.00pm, within the chosen venue. ATT accepts no liability for any actions, accidents, or consequences arising once the event has finished, including onward travel or subsequent social arrangements made between guests.

  • Guest Interactions

    Guests are not vetted. We encourage you to exercise the same common sense and care you would when meeting new people anywhere else. ATT does not accept liability for the conduct of other attendees, either during or after the event. We do not guarantee a romantic match will be made.

5. Photography & privacy

  • Photos may be taken during the evening for promotional purposes. Please inform us in advance if you do not wish to appear in photos.

  • In the unlikely event that ATT needs to cancel the event, all ticket holders will be offered a full refund or transfer to a future date.
